Karen Marsha Kadens, 65, Born in Chicago, IL to the late Bernard and Ann Kadens. Is survived by her brother Mark and sister-in-law Laureen. Karen passed away on 01/21/2017 from breast cancer. Karen was a teacher LA Unified School District for over 40 years, and has received numerous educational awards from the school district as well as from the mayor of Los Angeles. She was a warm and caring person, loved life and traveled the world. She was a great friend and will be missed. In lieu of flowers a donation to American Cancer Society would be appreciated. There will be a celebration of life for family and friends to be announced.
